Digital Law Library
The library is the ‘heart’ of any academic institution and plays an important role in all academic activities and, more so, in law institutions. Known as the Digital Law Library, it can accommodate more than 10,000 books with a large reading space for many users. There is a separate enclosure for female students, research scholars, and faculty members.
The students are provided with BCID-equipped identity cards. All library activities are fully automated, and it adopts the latest solutions for inventory, circulation management, and security systems. QLC has introduced computerized facilities for both housekeeping and information retrieval. Since it now has a leased line connection to the internet, it is possible to have easy access to information directly from all available computerized databases all over the world, not only in the field of law but also in other disciplines.
The QLC library is becoming increasingly involved in the acquisition, development, and management of digital information. It provides access to a growing database of free web resources (The Digital Library remains open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and for 24 hours during exams).
